Our Commander, Dr. Alfonso Alvarez is a former serviceman, CANG 40th ID, 160th Btl.  Dr. Alvarez was introduced to the American GI Forum by Rudy Escalante in 1994 and Dr. Alvarez has been a member since then.  Dr. Alvarez is currently employed as a Senior Social Worker for the County of Orange and is a Certified Anger Management Facilitator.   Dr. Alvarez was the recipient of the 1999 Larry Amaya Leadership Award, presented by the American GI Forum, Department of California.



Vice Commander Solis-Martinez retired from the Air Force and is a Vietnam Veteran.  Our vice commander was the recipient of the 2003 and 2004 Larry Amaya Leadership Award, presented by the American GI Forum, Department of California.


Danny Morales is Treasurer or our chapter and is also the current treasurer for the American GI Forum, State of California and the National organization.  Our treasurer was the recipient of the 2008 Larry Amaya Leadership Award, presented by the American GI Forum, Department of California.



Our Secretary, Ramon Diaz has been active in the American GI Forum for over 20 years. 




Alex Diaz is a war veteran who was deployed in Iraq as a combat photojournalist.  Mr. Diaz is the current Chaplain of our chapter.
